Using a strengths-based approach, we help individuals, couples, and families experiencing a wide range of personal or relationship difficulties.  We are committed to a treatment approach in which individual growth and development is best understood and promoted within the systems of family and community relationships.  As a practice, we recognize diversity in our society and embrace a cross-cultural approach.






In addition to a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University, Amy has almost nineteen years of experience with in-home family services, and is currently licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Colorado.  Amy has coordinated family therapy services for various therapeutic establishments, including as a Senior Associate for (the formerly known as) Knippenberg, Patterson, Bordelon & Associates, and New Directions for Families.  Amy has led socialization groups for ten years, both in New York and Colorado.  Amy also served on the Smart Girl Advisory Board, and is an AAMFT-approved supervisor, working with students in the therapy/counseling field toward their licensure requirements.

Amy can assist a range of families, including those dealing with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger's Disorder,brothers Attention Deficit (and/or Hyperactivity) Disorder, Tourette's Syndrome, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, Nonverbal Learning Disability and Dyslexia, as well as parents simply wanting to enhance their parenting skills toward a more harmonious home environment.
